The early education and childcare choices available for parents can be bewildering and it can be difficult to make a choice between Nursery settings for your child. My advice to parents is always to look for the following things:

• How happy and engaged are the children?

• Are adults happy and at children’s level and supporting them without taking over?

• Is there a good range of activity your child can engage in?

• How much experience and expertise do the adults have?

• We are one of only two maintained schools specialising in early years’ education in Cornwall.

• We are non profit making as we are a school rather than a business – all our funding goes directly to support the children.

• We are run by qualified teachers who have taught in primary schools.
